A South African-born overlander now based in the USA, Aidan Stott discovered his passion for adventure on off-road trips with his father. Inheriting his love for exploration from his dad, Aidan was further inspired by Kingsley Holgate’s expeditions as well as Shaun Whale’s 4WD 24/7 series.
After acquiring a 1991 Land Cruiser of his own, Aidan took on a solo, 10 000-mile trek exploring untouched landscapes from Alaska to South America. As a co-owner of Long Range America, Aidan’s working to grow the company while pursuing his overlanding goals, sharing his travels on social media so that everyone has an opportunity to experience his journey.
The build
For convenience and comfort on the road, Aiden’s build includes an Alu-Cab Gen 3-R rooftop tent that’s supported by an Alu-Cab 270° Awning for quick shade, an Alu-Table with easy access Table Slide, a Shoe/Mud Bag to keep things clean in his cab and a Can Crusher for the most satisfying beer-crushing, waste-reducing and conversation-starting experience.
