Based in Cape Town, South Africa, Georgia and Aimee-Li are the Alu-Cab Girls. Documenting their journey, they’re looking to inspire a new generation of car campers. Their daily drive is a Jimny fitted with an Alu-Cab LT-50, but depending on where they’re headed they take full advantage of Alu-Cab’s formidable fleet.
Whether behind the wheel of “Thor,” the rugged LC76, or “Hercules,” the meticulously kitted-out Troopy, they’ve traversed South Africa’s wildest landscapes and even across the border into Namibia.
As the daughter of our founder, Georgia was raised on Alu-Cab’s legacy and understands the brand’s 25-year dedication to quality. Aimee-Li is something of a novice but has quickly transitioned to overlanding enthusiast and speaks to the accessibility of the lifestyle.
Through raw, unfiltered storytelling, the duo invites others to learn alongside them. From how to change a tyre to understanding different drivetrains, mastering wild camping or navigating 4×4 trails, the girls do it all. Their mission? To prove that overlanding isn’t just for experts, but for anyone ready to explore.
