We’re proud to support the Kingsley Holgate Foundation’s Defender Transcontinental Expedition. This groundbreaking journey explored Africa and Europe, promoting conservation and community outreach.

The expedition was a remarkable feat, spanning two years and covering thousands of kilometers. It was the 40th expedition for the Kingsley Holgate team and the world’s first carbon-neutral 4×4 expedition.

Along the way, the foundation supported game reserves, field rangers and anti-poaching units. They also helped over 300,000 people through humanitarian initiatives, providing food, water, medical supplies and more.

We equipped two of the expedition vehicles with our Gen 3-R, Shower Cube and Shadow Awning. These products helped the team stay comfortable and focused on their mission.

The Defender Transcontinental Expedition is an inspiring example of conservation and community support. We’re honored to have contributed to their efforts and to support the preservation of Africa’s wildlife and indigenous communities.

We’re excited to be part of a project that’s using green hydrogen to power the future of overland travel.

Green hydrogen is a clean fuel that can help reduce our reliance on fossil fuels and fight climate change. We’re partnering with Fraunhofer IWU (a leading research institute) and Texulting (a textile technology company) to develop green hydrogen solutions for South Africa. This project, named HyTra, will help reduce our dependence on the grid and cut down on carbon emissions.

Together, we’re working towards a cleaner, greener future.

We’ve partnered with the Endangered Wildlife Trust (EWT) to support their Birds of Prey Programme.

Led by Dr. Gareth Tate, the programme works to conserve threatened birds of prey across Southern Africa. Dr. Tate and his team travel extensively, using their vehicles as mobile homes for their conservation work and research.

We’re proud to provide our products to equip the team’s vehicles for their important work. This will help them function more effectively and protect these amazing birds.

EWT is dedicated to ensuring that birds of prey continue to soar over Africa’s skies for generations to come. We’re excited to join them in this important mission.

A spunky pup has joined the Thornybush K9 Anti-Poaching Unit to protect amazing animals! With Alu-Cab’s help, Ammo’s ready to make a big difference in the fight against poaching.

The Thornybush K9 crew is working hard to stop poachers and keep wildlife safe. Ammo, a furry hero, is hard at work sniffing out poachers and finding hidden animal products.
